Measuring with Terrain

Measuring

Carnevale measures its distances in inches, noted with inverted commas, aka double quotes (for example 6 inches is 6"). You are allowed to measure distances at any time. To calculate a distance, measure the space directly between the two closest points.

When measuring to or from characters, always measure from the closest part of their base. Base sizes are listed on a character’s profile sheet as diameter in millimeters.

FAQ Clarification: If it is impossible to measure from base to base between characters, use your best judgement! still measuring as directly as possible, probably from the attacking character's eyes rather than its base.
